Do you want to join our engineering team that prepares Copenhagen’s S-network for an automated operation in the future? Take part in a unique journey where your efforts as a SCADA Lead will be critical to both the success of the project and the future of passenger experiences.

An automated future

DSB is currently making significant investments in the railway of the future, and we are already well underway with the acquisition of new environmentally friendly electric train sets, efficient electric locomotives, and large modern workshops. On top of that, we are working to transform the S-network into a fully automated system. All of this sounds easier than it is – but it’s fun and rewarding.

Right now, we are looking for a subject matter expert that can lead the collaboration with our supplier in configuring a new integrated control system (SCADA) that is key for operation of the future driverless S-Network. The role is in the Supporting Systems project in the Future S-network programme.

In our project you will meet many professional disciplines as we e.g., manage the implementation of operational systems as well as physical installations at stations and prepare for handover to daily operation to secure good passenger experience.

We are currently finalizing a tender phase and will late summer step into the design phase together with our chosen supplier.

“In this job, you will be challenged to find solutions quickly, being able to coordinate resources to focus on tasks and effectively communicate with the supplier, the SuSy team as well as with others within the FS Programme. You will be given the opportunity to grow your leading and technical skills on this complex and challenging project working with several different stakeholders such as suppliers, other project teams, programme support and management, and base organization.”  Says Nicolas, Lead Engineer
